Skate Community

The Utah Skate
Community.

Advocating for skateparks means more than pouring concrete. It means making sure that when the ramps open, kids have boards, coaches show up, and contests give them somewhere to go. USAG partners with community organizations across Utah who show up for skaters every week — teaching, mentoring, competing, and giving boards to kids who otherwise couldn’t ride.

This Month’s Feature.

Each month we highlight a Utah organization doing meaningful work for the next generation of skaters.

Carry On
Foundation.

Born out of Thread Wallets during the pandemic, Carry On uses skateboarding to teach kids mental-resilience skills — breathing, focus, “green, yellow, red” confidence checks, and how to fall well. They opened their first dedicated park in Provo in 2024 and just expanded into a warehouse near Daybreak in 2025.
